Your privacy, in one line

CinnaEMS works on your device. Your imported notes and the questions you ask the AI tutor never leave your phone. Your account (email, Google, or Apple sign-in) is used for one thing — backing up your study progress so it follows you across devices. We never sell your data.

Your account

CinnaEMS uses an account — email & password, an emailed code, Google, or Apple — so your progress is never lost with your phone.
We receive only the email your sign-in provider shares. With Apple you can choose Hide My Email; we then only ever see Apple's private relay address, never your real one.
Your email is used to sign you in, back up your progress, and recover your account — nothing else, and no marketing without your consent.

What's stored on your device

The app saves your progress locally: answers and scores, streak and study history, saved and missed items, your focus settings and exam date, any display name, and the notes or documents you import.
This lives in the app's private storage and is removed if you uninstall the app or use "Reset progress" / clear the app's data.

Cloud backup & sync

With your account, your study progress (answers & scores, streak, review schedule, saved/missed items, focus settings, exam date, display name) backs up to our cloud, hosted on Supabase.
It is readable only by your own account — we store the minimum needed to sync across devices.
Signing out stops further backups; your local data stays on your device.

Data we don't collect

In the app, beyond your email address and the study progress above, we collect nothing — no contacts, location, or browsing history.
Your notes, PDFs and imported documents, and your AI tutor chats stay on your device and are never uploaded.
We never sell your data. On our website we measure our own advertising — see “Purchases & advertising” below.

Your choices

Delete your account and all cloud data any time, right in the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. Removal is immediate.
You can also reset local progress anytime, or sign out to stop syncing.

Purchases & advertising

Optional purchases are handled by the App Store, Google Play, or our website together with RevenueCat; we receive only the entitlement (premium or not), never your card details.
We use the TikTok Pixel on our website to measure our advertising. It sets a cookie and, when you create an account or purchase, sends TikTok a hashed (irreversible) copy of your email address so a conversion can be matched to an ad. We do not sell your data, and we show no ads inside the app.
CinnaEMS is a study aid for adults preparing for the NREMT exams and is not directed to children under 13.
